Frequently asked questions
- How do I sign in?
- Open GridCall and tap "Sign in with Apple." Your Apple ID is used to securely sign in — no password or extra account needed.
- Why does GridCall ask for my location?
- GridCall uses your location only when you have an active event registration. Your device monitors a geofence around the event venue to automatically start a Live Activity when you arrive. Location data is processed on-device and is never stored on our servers.
- I'm not receiving push notifications.
- Check Settings → Notifications → GridCall on your device and make sure notifications are allowed. If you registered for an event but aren't seeing session reminders, try toggling notifications off and back on, then re-open the app.
- How do I delete my account?
- Open the GridCall app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, event registrations, device tokens, and all associated data.
- I'm an event organizer — how do I get set up?
- Organizer accounts are currently set up manually. Send us a message using the form below with your organization name and a few details about your events, and we'll get you set up.
- Something doesn't look right in my event schedule.
- Schedule changes are pushed from the event organizer. If you think something is wrong, contact your event organizer directly first. If you believe the app is showing stale data, send us a message and include the event name.
